1. dual-frequency RFID card profile
For the combination of the intelligent chip and magnetic stripe, or radio frequency and contactless chip or, low frequency, high frequency and ultrahigh frequency, three conditions of any two combined in one card called composite card (dual-frequency RFID card).
For example: The combination of MF1 card (or ID card) and SLE4442 card named the combination of the radio frequency card and contact card; the combination of ID card and MF1 card named the combination of the low frequency and high frequency card; the combination of MF1 card (ID card) and magnetism card (lo-co magnetic stripe or hi-co magnetic stripe), which is the combination of the radio frequency card and magnetic stripe card. These combinations will have their respective chip or coil or magnetic stripe basically, only one card is installed in one body, so called composite card.
With the smart card using more in application nowaday, and to avoid replacing old system, to meet all kinds of the special needs, to improve the efficiency of the whole system, usage of composite card is gradually increasing.
